At Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio, we create life-changing, one-to-one mentoring relationships that empower youth to reach their full potential. Our community-based and school-based mentoring programs provide children facing adversity with strong, enduring, and supportive relationships with caring adult mentors.
Our impact is profound and measurable. Youth who are matched with a mentor in our program show improved academic performance, increased self-confidence, and stronger social skills. They are more likely to graduate from high school, avoid risky behaviors, and develop positive relationships. By matching "Bigs" and "Littles," we foster a culture of opportunity, where children can see beyond their current circumstances to brighter futures.
Our mentors serve as role models, helping children realize their inherent potential and giving them the confidence to achieve their dreams. The ripple effect of these relationships reaches far beyond the individuals we serve, positively impacting families, schools, and the broader community. Together, we are changing lives for the better, forever.
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio, we believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed, and through mentorship, we make that vision a reality.
